Results of "Qlik Data Transformation Day 2022" in Astana Hub

Qlik®, the developer of the industry's only end-to-end platform built for Active Intelligence™, hosted a major business intelligence conference in Kazakhstan, Qlik Data Transformation Day 2022.

More than 700 people attended the conference at Astana Hub and online broadcast. Speakers from Kazakhtelecom, Magnum, the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for the development of labor resources, First Credit Bureau and seven other companies shared cases and results of the development of data-driven management based on Qlik technologies, and conference partners, Datanomix and ADC Project, talked about the technical implementation of BI projects.

The presentations at Qlik Data Transformation Day 2022 were primarily devoted to the experience of private and public companies in Kazakhstan, which systematically organize work with data and monetize it. Speakers from Kazakhtelecom, Magnum, the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for the development of labor resources, the First Credit Bureau spoke about the experience and results of using Qlik technologies to improve the efficiency of business decisions, as well as improve government processes based on analytics.



The technical sessions at the conference were devoted to getting acquainted with the Qlik ecosystem of products for analytics and creating data pipelines, the features of building data warehouses and data factories based on Qlik technologies, as well as practical experience in applying the Kanban methodology for analytical projects and data teams.

A separate session was devoted to cases of data monetization and built-in analytics based on Qlik technologies. Speakers shared approaches to creating products and interactive analytics based on data in the following industries:

  • retail (Oleg Kosterin, InfoVizion and Yulia Volvach, Retail Services 360),
  • transport (Dmitry Zhuravlev, Montrans),
  • blockchain and investigation of the theft of crypto assets (Vladimir Lazarev, Analytics Group),
  • pharmaceuticals (Pyotr Pavlov, Ipsos).
